the thing that offends me most is the price. i remember thinking £80 was a lot for a concert ticket in about 2010
- Well the thing is, she really needs the money.
  
  She personally doesn't, but it is a rather simple case of supply and demand for everyone else involved - there are only so many that fit in the concert, as long you find enough people willing to pay $900 per ticket to sell them all, it doesn't make any financial sense to price them any lower. And if you do lower it while the market is still willing to pay significantly more, you quickly get swamped by scalpers grabbing the profit from you instead.
  There is a Finnish saying that goes something like "He who asks is not the stupid one, the one who agrees to pay is".
- I paid that in 2017 or 18 for Bruno Mars for infield.
  
  mine was my chemical romance, the seat wasn't great but i had a good time. point is, $150 for just audio is shocking.
So Beyonce wants the poors out of sight and out of mind while those who can afford her $900+ tickets can see her?
I never liked Beyonce, but now she can legitimately go fuck herself at this point.
- I mean it's still live music? It's still a party? I am not a Beyonce fan and I would never pay that much money for one artist. But it's not like you see the artists anyway if you are at the back. So it's only over the big screens
  
  That’s what live concert albums are for. Pretty much the whole reason to go to a concert is to see the artist(s) perform, not just listen to them - you can can listen to them on a CD or Spotify/YouTube any random day of the week.
  It’s gross they’re charging $900 to see Beyonce, but it’s even more disgusting to charge $150 to not see her and only listen from the backstage like some shmuck.

I haven’t been to a concert in years. Prices are just too much, and then there’s this bullshit
- Pop and other giant artists are the ones with insane prices. Small bands are pretty reasonable still. I go see well known metal artists' concerts in LA for $20-55, usually around $30. More than it used to be sure, but it's a bit less than $900 lol

Any blind people here with opinions on the matter? Assuming it's an artist you'd like to hear, would you buy a cheaper ticket in back, or still want to be out front?
If ALL of the concert is like that, then it would be avant garde "art". Maybe a social-statement about entertainment.
They won't even have something like a screen to see what's happening on stage?
