A BG3 player disappointingly failed their Honour Mode run thanks to Scratch deciding to go fetch at the worst possible moment.

I usually leave Scratch safe at camp. I am a Wizard, and I conjure elementals for the dangerous adventuring I do.
20 0 ReplyRight? He and the owlbear cub stay safely at camp, and I come back splattered with the blood and whatever bits I hacked off of the enemies I fought.
He doesn't need to see what I've seen.
20 0 ReplyWait. You can get the owlbear cub to stay with you?

My dog reacts when Scratch appears onscreen. (Sometimes when my druid is a bear, too.)
I try not to use Scratch too much as a result. Also I don't like the yelp of a hurt dog.

You have to have his ball in your inventory and you'll get an option to summon him. He can find buried treasure but is weak in a fight.
