Cast at Maximum Range Toggle
In this patch we've added a new toggle setting that will affect how champions cast their abilities when the player inputs the command outside of max range. Go to Options > Game > Clamp Cast Target Location within Max Range and BOOM. With the toggle turned on abilities will automatically be cast at max range if the ability was cast outside of the ability's casting rangeI have been asking for this for years! It seemed like on the rare occasion it came up, Riot wanted it out of player's hands by design. I would have preferred it be ability-specific like quickcasting, but still this is wonderful!
Omg yes! I play with fast cast but with range indicators on on the skills.
This means that with, for instance, a velkoz E, if I have my cursor out of range he will walk in that direction until he can use the skill on that specific place when I just want it to go max range.
I'm sure overall it won't have a big difference on how I play, I still pretty much suck, but I'll suck less more often!
