Tbf, I appreciate when people do that, because then I don't have to relisten to the message several times or search through the missed calls. The old school enables my laziness.

Many businesses haven't updated their technology since the '90s so we really appreciate it.
- Yeah I am pretty sure if I call from my work phone the caller ID is just the main company number not my actual direct to desk number. So I do need to leave my number.

Everyone should do this at least when calling a business. I HATE how people race through the pertant info so that I have to listen to their damn message 3 times to get it all down correctly. I seriously want to help these people but they don't help themselves.

Right. And you don’t know if it is a mobile. It imho just a good practice as is saying your name twice.

Do people listen to voicemails? I thought the icon was just a redirect to “missed calls”

once is okay since maybe the number you called from is not the number that you can be reached at. twice you are old!

Depends how much money you pay in Canada whether you get visual voicemail or not.

If I needed to hear a voicemail I wouldn't know how to do it tbh.

Appreciate this, nothing worse than when someone legitimate calls from a private number, only says their callback after a long winded message and rushed the callback number.

Leaving voicemails? Seems my dude never left the early 90s either?
