Taoiseach does not regret Israel 'revenge' comment

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has said he does not regret saying the Israeli response to the 7 October Hamas attack was becoming "something more approaching revenge".

He's a smarmy fuck, but when he feels like he's on the popular side he digs in.
- This is the case with most leaders who condemned Israel. Jordan has a dictator who has left Jordanians to live under crushing poverty, Erdoğan kills Kurds wherever he can, Sisi is a military dictator who won Egypt with a coup, etc etc
