Still a disgrace that the officers who actually shot her saw no jail time, and the piece of shit who killed her actually got hired at another police department afterwards.

Probably because she lives in Louisville and would have to live with the consequences of her decision. She was appointed by Trump. I have no confidence this decision was based on anything other than self preservation. Louisvillians would burn her house down if she gave him one day.

3 years doesn't feel like enough for negligent homicide. Admittedly, I have minimal details other than they shot through a covered window and killed Breonna, which feels like enough information in itself to determine that 3 years wasn't enough.
Also, fuck Trump and his ilk asking for 1 day. They're a waste of oxygen.

This guy was part of the raiding party, shot blindly ten times but didn't hit anyone (purely by chance mind you), hence the lighter sentence.
DOJ was looking for one day of prison time so when I saw three years I felt like it was a win
