Everything is awful, so I started coloring with my kid after dinner as a way to decompress

Nothing really matters and when you die no one will care so let go keep coloring and working on projects that will make you want to get up in the morning.
Optimistic nihilism is such a great feeling. Suddenly, it becomes clear that the only thing worthy of worry is how to be happy and how to bring happiness to those around me, as often as possible. Coloring makes me happy and my child happy. I will color. We are happy.
I love it. Coloring books are such a slept on form of therapy. Thank you for reminding me.
This is beautiful - and it's a great way to bond with your daughter. Good on you for inspiring the rest of us and I love the comments on this post. We all certainly need to decompress in these very challenging times. We're all in this together. Thank you for sharing this work - continue to do so if you're up to it!
Everyone search for Adult Coloring Books. This is a big thing for a lot of people, and it is very important for mental health.
Cute :) I like the first one best. Though the expression on the last one is also pretty fun
Coloring is great! I like to spend some time with my daughter to pick out a few images online (she's a big fan of Kuromi), paste them together in a single page in gimp and then print them (twice) on marker paper.
Then we color them with alcohol markers. Which is so satisfying when you manage to get a perfectly colored image, it will almost look like it's printed.
