Pretty sad how this behaviour is normalized: "nag until you get your way" is dysfunctional behaviour
- If it is something that is within reach of your lifestyle and means and you say no just because...it is normal that the person asking will not be dissuaded until you both engage in a constructive way.

Basically me and my wife and how “we” now own two cats.
- That's how I ended up with 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 kids and 2 live-in in-laws.
  
  How much work are the in-laws?
- And let me guess - the cats are more attached to you than to her?

Certain dogs have uses, like for shepherding sheeps. Most don't, though
- Companionship is a major use.
  
  I keep mine as emergency rations. That's why I have weiner dogs
  
  But then they choose the other person in the home..
No thanks. We prefer free time and not being slaves to other beings' needs. Also we got more interesting hobbies that can surely take that extra cash 😁
I'm currently on phase 2 of her plan with my wife, but I'm meeting limited success. Does it only work once?
