Laid-off workers should use AI to manage their emotions, says Xbox producer

Read the room Matt.
If Xbox execs were good at decision-making, there wouldn't be so many laid-off workers to begin with. Let's replace them with AI. Even if the chatbots aren't any better, the cost savings might at least prevent a few layoffs of positions with less bloated salaries.
Execs and manager all think AI won't come for them but it will
But an AI surely can't reduce productivity as effectively as, for example, scheduling hundreds of 1:1 meetings in a week, or eliminating remote work to get all senior staff off the payroll.
