Except for the hiding part. This is quite open. I'm assuming all the billionaires are goin to pour money in a republican campaign which highlights this during the general electon. But perhaps, if his ground game is good enough, it won't matter. Inshallah.

He won the primary, he hasn't quite won the seat yet but in NYC it's typically a guarantee that the dem nominee will win, though it might be a bit closer with this guy because of the big money against him.

He got further than Sanders on a significantly further left platform.
No more half measures. That is the lesson from all this.

And for the doomers, even if he doesn’t win, we had him on TV talking about being a socialist and describing his platform to great applause, and we embarassed the Democrats effort to defeat him in the primary, showing how popular our politics are. The struggle is, itself, valuable.

He's obviously not gonna do this, but it's interesting that this could be something he sincerely believes
won't have the legal power to do it obviously. for that you need the presidency, defense production act invocation, and some other things to align (honestly just do shit like trump did, show no fear, let the state show it's weakness)
