Yes, but this will be the make or break. I think everyone expects it to be just as buggy as Skyrim, but if it ends up being a cluster fuck it will destroy any future launches that could be this big.
I don't think anyone has any doubts about the games actual entertainment factor though.
I don't expect it to be as bugged as previous releases. they were often fighting against a set timeline. this time it sounds like Microsoft urged them to postpone the release to make sure that the game is more polished. and recent interviews also sounded like there are hundreds of people playtesting the game right now. so I expect it to have less bugs then usual... mainly because of Microsofts involvements.
Well they raised the price of Starfield to $70 USD, so it will automatically get $10 more per copy that people buy than before. On the flipside, people like me arent going to pay $70 for a video game. But normies don't really care about something like that, they just want to buy product, consume product, then buy next product.
Fun fact, you can insert an image directly into you comment by using the insert link and adding and exclamation point in from of the first square bracket, like this
Xbox doesn't care much about selling copies of Starfield. They want to sell Game Pass subscriptions, and they want Starfield to drive those sales.
I wonder if these forecasts for the Xbox division include merchandise as well. I could see that area as a big boost - the type they expected from Redfall (w/ a special Design Lab controller operations, etc.) - and Starfield is also going strong with the limited controller and headset.
