Godot and gd script is crazy. It's supposed to be a game engine but it can do basically anything really well (or at least better than other languages used for everything like js)

I've run into some oddly missing features such as not being able to access gyroscope and whatnot on Android, but it's only getting better!
Maybe a permissions issue?
Try it on the mobile editor and if it works, its permissions.
