It's definitely because of his work in The Fifth Element.
I mean, the rest of his extensive filmography is nice I guess, but Fifth Element was his Magnum Opus.
Nobody wears tilted hair like Sir Gary Oldman.
I do like a lot of his different films. I've been enjoying him in Slow Horses.
Best introduction of a character for sure.
Him figuring out the newton's cradle in Rosencrantz and guildenstern are dead puts him in high high standing.
Drexl from True Romance.
For me it's Léon: The Professional, but I'm going to compare them soon.
It's crazy to me that those are back-to-back Luc Besson films, both starring Gary Oldman. Oldman's performances are so different, I didn't even recognize them as the same actor until I saw the credits.
