Ukraine is in no way being forgotten, they were just sent another 200 billion after the Gaza war started.
That said, can someone ELI5 the skeleton conflict?
The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict[f] is an ethnic and territorial conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh, inhabited mostly by ethnic Armenians until 2023, and seven surrounding districts, inhabited mostly by Azerbaijanis until their expulsion during the 1990s. The Nagorno-Karabakh region has been entirely claimed by and partially controlled by the breakaway Republic of Artsakh, but is recognized internationally as part of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan gradually re-established control over Nagorno-Karabakh region and the seven surrounding districts since 2020.
This may surprise you, but there are multiple things happening in this picture
Anyone else find it hilarious that wiki uses the word "Belligerents" to label the list of warring nations?
What ever became of the Free Hong Kong protests?
We forgot them, and now Hong Kong is just as repressed as the rest of China.
They got cancelled due to COVID and police violence.
China won
Kind of hard to keep a protest going through covid and also anyone who says anything being arrested
Considering that western media is hysterically blaming Palestinians for Israeli atrocities now, I'd say it's rather Israel's (alleged) "plight" that's getting the limelight - not Gaza.
I'm starting to think that the american media just focuses on whatever war is most advantageous for the american empire at the time.
It's whatever is new and will get attention.
Surely not!
Since always
Also Tigray, Congo, Nicaragua, Kurdistan, Xinjiang, Myanmar...
The real drowning is the Sudan civil war
The Darfur conflict was my first eye opener to major powers pissing around while genocide happened. In fact that conflict is still going on as recent as last year.
At least there’s some discussion about Israel committing genocide. The Azeri threat to Armenians in karbach has been getting ignored for years.
It's been more than a year it's bound to die off. Plus 1500 plus killed in one day is way more interesting than 1 inch of ground recoverd
Whatever happened to Kony?
That post got enough likes in 2012 so we stopped him!
From his Wiki page, he is in hiding and his army has all but entirely disbanded. It also notes that by 2012 he was already in hiding and and the US was already providing Uganda with military assistance against the terrorist group he founded.
Ucraine, right next to Muldova and Polind.
