AI, ChatGPT, and LLMs "have absolutely blown up what I try to accomplish with my teaching."

AI, ChatGPT, and LLMs "have absolutely blown up what I try to accomplish with my teaching."
Man, reading through those teacher responses, one thing is really apparent: These are the teachers that care.
If my school time is anything to go by, for every one of these, there's multiple who don't care.
And now just imagine the mixed signals that the students get. In 4 out of 5 classes, you hand in the LLM output and the teacher doesn't check it for accuracy, just gives you an excellent grade.
And then in one class, there's one teacher who tells you not to use LLMs, because they're supposedly inaccurate and because you won't always have an LLM in your pocket or whatever.
Of course, you're gonna believe that one teacher is just a bit kooky.
And especially, if you've more-or-less skipped a class or two by using an LLM for everything, you won't have much of a choice than to continue cheating, because you haven't learned all the foundational topics.
