Not yet. The ICJ is still examining the mountain of evidence. It will probably take a few more years.
I dont think we coined the term Holocaust until after the Germans lost the war. I imagine it'll be the same with Gaza. History needs to happen and be written first.

- Aid has been consistently flowing into Gaza from Egypt AND Israel with a few pauses that were almost immediately lifted every time.
- The leader of Hamas that was killed was once a prisoner in lsrael. He had a life threatening condition that required brain surgery, Israel provided it for free and saved his life.
- Israel has Muslim Arab parliament members, a Muslim Arab supreme court justice, and Muslim Arabs working as professors at its universities.
- Israel has peaceful relations with Jordan and Egypt, Muslim Arab majority nations. It's actually super easy to get along with Israel, just don't attack.
- The 'new' leader of Hamas may have died yesterday in Gaza. He was operating immediately under a working hospital, one of countless examples of Hamas purposely endangering citizens so that they die for negative online clout.
- After a year into the war, Israel took over a major Hamas base that was right under UNWRA headquarters. Since then, they have been able to keep the civilian population largely out of harm's way, though imperfectly, which is why the death toll was largely reduced in the second year of fighting.
Taken together, the conclusion is that this is a messy and ugly war. But it is not a genocide.

Jewish human rights groups and human rights groups all over the world as well as genocide scholars all over the world are calling what is happening a genocide. I'll put more weight on their conclusions than someone who has nine bullet points of Zionist hasbara.

I'd say there is overwhelming evidence that this is likely genocide, but we can't say it is one until the ICJ finishes reviewing the mountain of evidence against Israel

50,000 died of a population of 2 million (many of them militants). 2.5%, while a tragic loss of life, does not compare with the Holocaust where one-third of the Jewish population worldwide, and two-thirds of European Jews, had been wiped out.
If Israel is intent on genocide they aren't very good at it. They could have wiped out ⅔ of Gazans in the first week after October 7 but chose not to. Meanwhile Hamas and Hezbollah to this day call for ridding the Levant of all Jews but cannot.
Many more lives will be lost by Hamas not surrendering but it is a sacrifice Tankies in the comfort of their Western homes are willing to make.

Trump's talk of "evicting" Gazans to Libya is disturbing. That would be ethnic cleansing.
