Anon takes the last bus

Anon takes the last bus
40 minutes is freaking long enough. That's twice a day.
Plus, Anon is already on the bus. They could have been on the bus for an hour before the grasshopper got on.
Nah I do a 40 minute walk home after work it ain't that bad
I used to start the day with about a 30min walk to work and end it with a 1h20min walk back from uni at the end of the day. Would end up with about 10km a day for about 2 months.
You kinda get used to it, but I still prefer to ride my motorcycle since it now takes like 25min in total.
I'd take a 40min walk over my 30min driving commute, traffic sucks.
What I got was it was only that long because anon got off early because of the grasshopper.
Is this a post about racism
No it's about sexism
Annon describes what it's like to be a woman on the bus and see a man board

bus
ticket inspector
Are they talking about the driver or does their bus have someone punching tickets like a train?
Sometimes buses will have random checks, where a guy comes on and verifies everyone's tickets. Unlike on a train, it doesn't happen every time, or particularly often for that matter.
TIL
Not sure what country OP is in, but here in Copenhagen, Denmark they have ticket inspectors boarding busses at seemingly random stops, validating everyone's tickets, and then leave the bus again. Because you can enter the bus through any door now, so you can easily avoid purchasing a ticket.
USA, so my familiarity with functional public transport is shakey at best.
In New York City you get inspectors boarding busses doing similar, at least when Select Bus Service routes were being rolled out
third time? Wtf is he riding on, the route that stops at the wheat fields?
Nah, OP is just dipping into the drugs a bit.
Someone is starting to experience schizophrenia
Should've stayed on the bus. Never let them know their disguise doesn't work on you. Now they might be coming after anon.
3rd time? i think the grasshopper has a montly pass
Op has not watched bugs life..
A 40 min walk isn't a terribly long walk but if it's after an 8 or 10 hr shift, then it's not exactly an enjoyable stroll lol
my bus only went as far as that, it is bearable for me, especially because I can get some milkshakes to drink my way back.
Plus that's not the total distance, the bus drove for a while before they got off.
I'd get a Brompton or a scooter.
I used to ride 20 minutes going downhill to work for my night shift, do my 12h shift, go to the gym, go back home 25 minutes going uphill
Sleep like a baby you say? Damn right!
