Yeah I wonder if this is a product from 10 years ago and Apple just doesn’t drop the listed price.
Also “manufactured in the same Chinese city” doesn’t make sense at all. Why would the location of the factory say anything about the product? You can make two different things in the same city.

Be aware that it is protected and blessed by holy Apple magic. Additionally, you compare it without the work to build it in. Using 16 GB RAM is far more complicated. And concluding: You wanna be an outsider? No? So pay for our overpriced bs!
