Probably hang out in my garage and record stuff. Get the tubes in my amps screaming hot and just riff. Then probably some reading afterwards.
Rock a Matamp GT120 and got endorsed by Tre Audio with a Wretched Beast. What are your tube amps?
I finally hope to trash the old CRT in my basement, but for years it's called to my like a Green Goblin mask to rip the tube out and turn it into a guitar.
1968 Traynor YBA-1, Orange AD30, hotrodded Fender Princeton to replicate the original Mesa Boogie, and various other odds and ends i've collected and built over the years.
That Fender sounds sick, I actually just had to sell an old YBA1 too. Im usually more of a British amp homie, just sold a Peavey Windsor with that traynor, and my road backup head is a solid state Hiwatt. The new Super Leeds line is really good
The Fender has a funny story. I did the thing many young punks did and started to lean more into the alt country scene. I was complaining to a buddy that builds amps that everything i had was too loud, too heavy, and too distorted for what i was looking for. I was gigging with an AC30 at the time, which was nice, but wasn't quite what i was looking for. 4 months later, my buddy pulls this thing out of the trunk of his car and went "here, quit your whining. This is the only amp you'll need". It's my 'clean' amp (which means its always on the edge of breaking up). I'm a guitar controls before pedals guy, and it's perfect for my needs.
Hell yeah. Im the opposite, but my genre calls for it - weird pedals and lots of fuzz encouraged. Got a few super custom things going on on my board, but I've been building my rig up for almost a decade
Oh yeah, nothing is stopping me from fucking around and building the mothership pedal board again and running it through my 4x12 stack, but that's just when i'm at home. I do get funny looks though because i have a sparkle drive board that i installed into a boss hm-2 case.
Haha nice! Whats in your cab? I have an X pattern of v30s and Fane A60s, the ceramic ones. Sounds reaaaal good to my ears, the Fanes add back some of the frequencies that the v30s diminish.
It's boring, but greenbacks and v30s in vintage traynor cabs. Before it was just whatever i could get my hands on, but about a decade ago i decided to load them proper because the speakers just sounded awful. It fits in right next to my 8x10 fridge.
