Red Wings address several needs in free agency, but are they better?

Steve Yzerman has changed roughly 25 percent of the roster from the end of last season.

Like the article suggests, I'm not entirely sure we're better on paper than last year.

Obviously there's more to a good hockey team than being good on paper though. What are everyone's thoughts?
