I took up backpacking as a hobby, mostly weekend trips. Getting back to work on Monday was nice because my job is so much easier
Drugs 🥳
I look forward to Mondays because my weekends are completely rammed with weekend projects, socials and running around with my kid. My mundane office job is a relief in comparison which I actually look forward to just so I can get a break.

Because cosmic horror is way less upsetting than reality in America these days. Seriously, try it for yourself.

Sundays are intentionally busy and are chore days for me so it isn't meant to be uplifting unless something interesting comes up. Saturdays are my fun days where I go somewhere and do something.
If you hate your job that much, QUIT. Unemployment is at 4.1%, about as low as it gets. I know that's a glib, simplistic answer, but sometimes it's really that easy. I made a complaint to the scheduling lady, bam, perfect schedule now. I work hard, I'm conscientious, they fucking love me, not letting me go easy.
Fuck me, had a tech support job with Cox. Tried to hang in for 6-months until I could get back in the field. Hated that shit so much I was depressed on FRIDAY thinking about how soon I would be back.
Quit a 7-year job over being annoyed, FOR 7-YEARS (that's on me and the 2008 recession). Damn near doubled my pay. Next job? Annoyed me after 5-years. Doubled my pay again. Lost that job due to it being moved. They offered severance or moving expenses. Dropped IT to go do manual labor at Lowe's. Happy as a pig in shit. (Pay sucks. For now.)
I call it the Hawkeye Pierce Theory of Work. Be soon damned good they can't get rid of you. Guess what? Now you write the rules. If that ain't working? LEAVE.
tl;dr: You only have one life and your labor (hopefully) has value. Fuck the police, move on.
Don't quit right now if you are anything more than entry level. It's a very rough market right now, especially in tech sectors. Get something else lined up and then move on. Don't just quit with nothing lined up.
I would have hoped that went without saying, but I was dumb when I was young, quite jobs with nothing lined up.
But being employed is much like having a girlfriend. When you have the extra self-confidence, and they know you're wanted, your stock goes up.
likely what you don't like about mondays but https://youtu.be/bMIPich_jBI?t=104
have fun? why is there gloom on Sundays?
Never heard if the Sunday Scaries? The purple boys will enlighten you.
Church can always help with that. I am there as many weeks as I can go.
Sorry you got downvoted for that mate. It's very intolerant, you've got a right to your own beliefs
Thanks.

But on that subject, what are the options for non-theistic or otherwise secular analogs for church? And if there are none, perhaps organizing some community support group could be beneficial to many people, including the organizer?
Getting out of the house prolongs the weekend. I always am so surprised how long the weekend is when I take a 3 hour trip somewhere instead of sitting at home. There's a lot of board game groups around in most medium to large towns, some of them are ran by youth groups but they accept anyone. Only bummer is a lot of people are under 30 so if you are over that and looking for something similar it may be more difficult.
I don't think there is a drop-in replacement for everyone (it would be weird if there were). Maybe libraries?
I know libraries often host recurring secular meetups like knitting clubs and whatnot. Maybe check your local library to see what events they have to offer, or organize one if you're feeling ambitious.

Rightly so, as religion is an absolute horror, objectively. The negatives far outway the benefits, but there are benefits as you've pointed out, the social cohesion and related stuff.
I 2nd the importance, and for non-church ways of attempting to get the same thing, I'd recommend checking out meetup.com. Potentially you can find a group that interests you, whether it be hobbies or just "like minded" gatherings. There are Atheist meetups, among many many others. Depends heavily on your geographic location. Will probably have better options in or near large cities. You can even start your own, and see if anyone joins.
You say that like all of us are going to mind if you're theistic or not (an understandable stereotype, even though still a stereotype). I suppose there are other options, like clubs and libraries, but as a rural woman, I can't say anything else makes a stereotype out of it. All the communities I've seen are notoriously bad at keeping common interest groups thriving.
