Was legit surprised to see my local microcenter sold out when I checked today. Pretty sure they had multiple hundreds in stock and now there's only 1 left today.

It's partially AI, but in all likelihood customers aren't buying with AI as a high priority; instead, supply is constrained because most of the same production capacity is being used on AI-focused enterprise hardware.

Not as far as I know most of the popular coins either use asic mining or proof of stake. Maybe they use them for memecoin or something idk.

Buying RX 6800 XT in early 2023 for €400 was the best decision I could make. The card even OCs by almost 20%... Coil whine is exceptionally bad on it though.
There is literally nothing I can upgrade to that makes any financial sense.

I'm on a 2080 Ti and even I'm having a hard time justifying these upgrades. Upgraded my wife's 1080 with a used 3070 instead.
