Every Trek series could have done one of these and I would have loved each and every one.
- I always find it weird that the borg babies didn't try to assimilate Boimler

I would unironically watch the fuck out of a 90's style "babies" Star Trek spinoff. I picture it basically being Lower Decks, but without swearing.
- Me too. A pretty good template could be the Marvel Comic series "Franklin Richard's", where the son of Mr Fantastic gets up to hilarious science hijinks in his father's lab.
