Cant imagine making 30 k a year and having to pay even 1600 in taxes. This is saying it will increase that much.
But exactly what America voted for.
About a third of the electorate voted for.
What you need? How dare you be so impudent, plebe? Now throw yourself into the dirt before the king!

It is worth noting that almost all Americans pay other taxes. Federally there’s also social security and Medicare taxes.
At the state level almost every state also has an income tax, and some states like Pennsylvania also have a local county tax. Others have things like personal property tax (Missouri) or other more targeted taxes on specific services.
