This whole situation shows it was never about “draining the swamp” for his voters. It was about hurting people they don’t like and getting to be a racist bigot in public.
- The swamp was always a racist dog whistle, it was never about corruption.
  
  Same with "eggs". Magats lack a spine to say the shit out loud despite their claims they like to "tell it like it is."
- I mean, to them, corrupt means morally evil. When you think you're on the side of God while everyone else is Satan, that'll happen.
I agree with this article on all its main point, except for one thing: he did not become the swamp when he decided to rule
He is part of the swamp, even before his presidential campaign.
