You think they're fighting or just making us think that so we make comments like this to make us feel better as they work together and bring everything crumbling down?
Think about how they operate.
Everything is a joke, everything is hypocrisy, but everything they do is going to be deadly serious.
Stop laughing and take everything that is happening as life or death.

I think they're two people with egos that can be used against them. We've seen foreign powers take advantage of this and I support the media doing the same.
At the end of the day, the checks and balances in our government were designed around people not wanting to share power (judicial vs executive vs legislative).
