While I applaud CIRA for stepping up here, what’s the reason/benefit of using CIRA’s tool over one of the ones that already exists? I mean, my router even has the SpeedTest one baked in.

I think a benefit specific to this project is to build up data that could be used to put more pressure on the telecom companies to fix the issues?
