Employees at multiple federal agencies were ordered to remove pronouns from their email signatures by Friday afternoon, according to internal memos obtained by ABC News.
How I'd this not a free speech violation?
This is their professional speech, not their personal speech. Your employer has the absolute right to fire you if you use swear words in communique with your work email. That's not a violation, just like this isn't.
The federal government simply considers this unprofessional, and since they're applying the rule equally there's also no basis for a discrimination or wrongful termination suit.

The USA has high egg prices because they have built a system that is not only extremely vulnerable to diseases, but is also extremely effective at generating new ones. They build ranches of horrifying cruelty with millions of individuals. (The average ranch size in Canada is about 30k.) When one gets sick, the whole million plus flock of individuals are slaughtered. Meanwhile, the USA is a huge global viral reservoir and multiplying reactor, putting not only other agricultural populations at risk, but the entire fucking human race when this inevitably jumps to humans. So hard to be sympathetic that this is costing your daily needless cruelty a few cents more.
Well u can't really blame trump for the eggs that is an issue of h5n1 and speculation on the egg market.
so stupid. that always helps a lot. at my company we've discussed 15 minutes with 10 people, how to address the person from another company, who's gender we don't know and who's name can be male and female, without hurting their feelings. i ended up writing an email asking about their pronouns. this wastes so much time and in the case of the white house, even taxpayer money. people can become super insecure if they don't know. we also have a guy at the office who frequently gets misgendered because of his unusual first name. he always get's super angry about it, but he also understands this can happen. why would one make this more complicated.
