Waaaaiiiiit a minute, Pee-wee Herman was gay!? Next you'll be telling me Freddie Mercury was gay! Or Lance Bass!
- Freddie Mercury was bi, but regardless, both of them felt that it was okay for them to come out (although Mercury never outright stated it but he also didn't hide it). Reubens lived in fear of it because he was convinced it would destroy his career. It's really, really sad because he was an awesome guy.
  
  Ironically Kevin spacey, who did way worse than jerk off in a porno theater, kind of salvaged his career to a degree by coming out as gay
