Ok, I’ve caught myself doing this but only during some truly dark periods lmao This is when you throw your phone out the window and read a book

I'm just generally bad about hopping between hexbear, reddit, and twitter. Bluesky sometimes, but that's mainly just libs congratulating each other about how cool bluesky is.

Recently I've taken to just idly browsing secondhand and auction sites to look at funny vintage clothes and the weird phrasings people come up with.
Lots of what I assume to be attempts at gaming search results by typing "BRAND NEW VINTAGE/ANTIQUE" in the title and shit like that.
- Oh yeah i do this looking for deals on Pokemon cards because i accidentally fell into a side hustle

Usually at some point I end up checking the news thread, get really depressed, and that stops the spiral.
- Heaps of respect to the news threads peeps, but their convos are often intense af. Like:
  poster 1: I can't believe that Slovenia would import the F-21s
  poster 2: No they were actually unporting F-23s [links 4 different sites to prove it]
  poster 3: No you're both wrong. Slovenia is just in your imagination. [links detailed Telegram thread which proves their point inconclusively.
  poster 1: I am ashamed to call myself a leftist. I will deny myself food for 3 days as punishment.
  poster 2: [deletes account to join a monastery]

Half a year ago I turned off my YouTube view history, which severely hinders their algorithm and makes it a lot less efficient at making you watch endless trash. This has not done anything to stop my spiraling depression though

So i do the hexbear loop until I'm convinced there's nothing new to see and nobody replies to my comments, causing me to escape the loop with this process
Open the one idle game i have on my phone to buy upgrades
Open pokemon tcg live even though I know my phone will freeze during a match. Phone freezes during a match causing me to stop looking at my phone
Idk pretend to work for a bit until i get bored again

No, I'm banned from every social platform because I tell landlords they deserve the guillotine when I see them gloating in threads. That pretty much settled my doomscroll addiction.
