I'm very clearly talking about short term behaviors like driving the wrong way down a street without lights wearing all black at night.
Obviously.
And I say obviously because you also knew this, you're just making a bad faith response because no bicyclist has ever had a good response to "but 80% of bikers completely ignore laws in a very dangerous (to them, pedestrians) way"
No, you very clearly have a bug up your ass. Cycling? ISN'T DANGEROUS. Even in the city, cycling is a net positive to life expectancy. The more you cycle, the longer you live. That seems to piss you off for some reason. Well, if you're that sort of person: good!
Cycling isn't dangerous? Then what is this entire thread about? Can I just refer any biker wanting to improve road safety back to you as a source that changes aren't needed? Like seriously what are you even talking about? I provided a pretty clear risk-seeking behavior example that I see multiple times per week, and your response is that doing cardio is healthy? Are you ok?
I see life threatening behaviors all the time from car drivers too.
I do agree that some bikers are not respecting the rules and do not ride safely, but car drivers do that too, and when they do so they actually endanger life.
Statistics will tell you very clearly that bikers are way less dangerous to pedestrians and others than car drivers.
Ermmmm...doesn't that logic indicate we should all kill ourselves right now to save the hassle? I'm not shooting down the idea, I just think user jerkface should try first and let us know if it was worth it.
