I've often joked about ska being bad but I have to say I'm fond of Oreskaband after being turned onto them via hexbear.
Magdalena Bay and The Talking Heads are two other acts you sickos have me listening to.
Just like my taste in games and anime/manga, music is whatever sounds good and is catchy, I don't have a preference.

I'm honestly shocked how vehemently people will hate ska. I get hating folk-punk and psychobilly (i love both), but hating ska?!
I just never gave it a chance and thought it was silly, I stand corrected.

That's the thing though. 3rd wave Ska is silly af, and that's its main strength. Most 3rd wave Ska bands are pretty good musicians getting together and singing happy, jump-around music solely to have fun. It's just so extremely optimistic and pure that I can't help but love it.
1st and 2nd wave is a different story, but 3rd wave is happy times.
