Government should pay compensation for secretive Cold War-era testing, St. Louis victims say

As Congress considers payments to victims of Cold War-era nuclear contamination in the St. Louis region, people who were targeted for secret government testing from that same time period believe they’re due compensation, too.
Jesus christ, there's always some new atrocity we're learning about.
And it totally falls in line with institutionalized racism. Ugh, I hate seeing shit like this...I really do. I know the United States can do better, and it's frustrating that some Americans will ignore the atrocities the government has done to their own people. Going even as far as questioning your patriotism because you point this out, or criticize the government for doing these things.
The US has never moved away from that institutionalised racism. A one hour video that shows how slavery persisted after Junteenth.
How is this not a blatant violation of human rights?
It is, but even if anyone wanted to hold the US accountable, what are they going to do?
That's a certified Great Satan moment there folks.
