  • Not a great final episode. Not a fan of how the finished the arc. There don't seem to be many consequences, if any, for the betrayal. Especially Elentzia. Her motives were vague to begin with (she wanted to prevent a war, but her uncle is the one that would've caused the war had things continued on, so what the fuck?), but then she suddenly stood behind Hadis again and now has suffered no consequences for her actions? She still betrayed Hadis and teamed up with someone that attacked a completely innocent village, wanted to execute a little girl and the real descendent of Rave (even if she herself didn't want to, but come on). She was clearly in the wrong. She wasn't forced into doing this. Not executing her is very understandable, but no prison time? Or being stripped of her authority? Or being demoted? Also, talking about having kids with him (while she is an 11 year old) and then be like "they can marry your siblings so they become real family (who are older than Hadis)!". Bro what.

Anyway, this anime was intriguing, but fuck man, did they really have to make her 10 (now 11) and him 19? Even if she's "actually 16". And double, no tripple down, on it too. Sure medieval marriages like this weren't uncommon, but 1. this is fantasy so doesn't have to follow those norms, it's not like they're telling a story specifically focussing on those fucked up marriages and 2. there was often no agency over it in those times but here they have full agency. It tries to be self-aware by having everyone else be like "haha, this is weird right?", but it does it anyway. Why not up her age to something acceptable? Or have him come down in age. Or both? Or have it stay completely strategic with no feelings involved? But no. They even specifically made it Hadis' preference (not just because of the Goddess of Kratos). Had they not brought it up so much, it could have been ignorable, but that wasn't the case.

  • It wasn't perfect, the relationship was weird, but considering the girl is the MC I gave it a pass. but going out of their way to legitimize it does make it weirder. It also strongly pivots from comedic to serious, but there is solid world-building, as well as great epic scenes. Plus a cute badass like Jill is fun to watch, logic be dammed. Fun but flawed, aka a 7. One of the worse shows of the season, but that doesn't mean its bad. I still prefer it over Dandadan any day.

I don'#t think there is ever gonna be a season 2 of this dough.

  • I kinda like the anime, i mean i enjoyed it a bit more than others. But ehh i see the weaknesses. Probably i like just Jill, who know, a little twirk, that is way to strong (why was she already that strong at that age) and fighting throught whatever the enemy is doing regardless if she has magic or not. Ordering an arming in a kinda harsh tone. That's just absurd, but is blushed when Hadis is doing something sweet and get a child with food arround. I just think Jill rescued the anime for me. It's feels sometimes rushed, has joke on no appropritate moment. I would like to see another season otherwise i would consider to get the novel or manga.
