Yet-to-be-announced RX 8800 XT could make significant gains in RT performance and trade blows with nVidia's 4080

My prediction: it will still fall short of the 4080 on most measures despite being later to market and be more energy inefficient in the process but will be an okay value based on price.

I really hope they make a breakthrough on the GPU front as they did with CPUs so we have viable alternatives. I’m rooting for AMD and Intel in the GPU space.
