Not that climate change isn't a big deal, but this place only opened in 2016. Seems to me they just picked a bad spot in the first place.
Edit: Leaving this up so other people see, the resort opened in 1960 not 2016. CNN messed up.

I think the "journalist" got confused because on wiki it says the town creation date it 2016.
But it's just 2 old towns close to each other that has been merged this year, it happens every year.
