Combustion engine ban threatens ‘grave crisis’ for Europe, Italy says

Poor, poor carmakers. If only they could have had several decades to prepare for this.

Can we please stop to pretend that carmakers are somehow the holy cow and bring only good to the people of Europe?

They don’t care about the people. All they care about are profits. That’s why they already outsource most of the work to low-wage countries.
