I'm Forever DM, not Forever GM
Explanation: I'm the only person who runs D&D in my friends groups, so I get to play in other games under other Game Masters, but have a LOT of D&D character ideas I will never get to try.
I do the opposite. I will run any game EXCEPT D&D. This gets people to try new games, and if they really wanna do D&D they can do it themselves, learn how to DM and run a group, and then I get to play. It's been a pretty flawless strategy for me overall

Technically yes, but it's not the same.
fabula ultima is pretty fucking nice for building my weirder character concepts
I'm seriously having fun making the builds, this may grow into a backlog similiar to d&d characters....
