  • Quality aside, every new Ghostbusters property without Harold Ramis wounds me a little...

    • Ramis wasn't in the Real Ghostbusters cartoon from the 80s, which was very good until the network lobotomized it in the third season.

      • I didn't know that. I guess my brain filled in animated Egon from the game and assumed the cartoon was him too.

        • The fellow who voiced the cartoon did model his performance on Ramis, so it's understandable.

Side note: I'd always assumed I was making that up--that it really wasn't good and my child self maybe just outgrew it--but I rewatched it as an adult when my son was about eight and I was kind of surprised, and vindicated, that it really was a good show and the network really did dumb it down midway through it's run.

    • I really liked afterlife

    • That's true for everything Harold Ramis touched. That being said I really enjoyed the most recent films. The second weaker than the first but still enjoyable.
