Saudi Arabia says Hamas leader's killing was 'blatant violation' of Iran's sovereignty

Iran doesn't recognize Israel. Therefore, it was not a state that attacked them. If I go and commit a crime in another country (a crime according to that country) I'm not violating their sovereignty, because I'm not acting on behalf of a state, and I couldn't possibly be acting on behalf of a state that is not recognized to exist.
