They fucking better be
That's a beauty. Did you make it?
Yeah, thanks!!! Mahogany neck with a walnut fretboard and abalone markers. It was for my GF's father in law, so sadly I don't have that one anymore. Working on a maple neck/maple fretboard in a white Arturo Fuente box for a co worker now.
And yours are pretty sharp, too!
And on that note, was thinking there should be another community for CBG's and builds, but I don't know the slightest thing about creating and moderating one
Can't turn away anyone livin the High Life!
I feel like the only rule should be that the instrument should (probaly) have a neck and body, and played with your fingers or a pick. If not, but the post receives up votes, also let it stay.
Oh yeah, keytar time!
That's a strange thing to say on a post that features no ukuleles.
I kinda like ukes. Pulling off a good performance on a uke requires the same skills and commitment as a guitar and a well built uke sounds amazing in the right hands. Hell, a shit uke can sound great in the right hands. George Harrison used to travel with his and wrote some of his best songs with it. Here Comes The Sun, for example, is capo-ed at the 7th to emulate a uke.
