My urge to drink vs my absolute hatred of hangovers is an endless battle within my mind and liver
I feel like both of us might benefit from moderation
I find zero point to drinking in moderation. Why would I drink unless I wanna feel drunk? And the amount it takes to get me drunk is always enough to make me feel like shit, so I just haven't drank in like a year
i feel the same way, but i take the opposite approach and drink water like a dehydrated man in the desert with a thing for salt lick the whole time i drink; it makes me urinate a lot while i'm drunk, but it works.
I just like how some drinks taste and it's not really the tastes achievable without alcohol I think. Like there's non alcohol beers, I can see how that's possible (yet I don't like beer), but I'm yet to see an alcohol-free whiskey or gin/martini. Despite I don't have much of a hangover after a moderate amount of good whiskey/gin - the morning is still rougher than usual and me not like it -_-
