    Remember, it’s only the party turning against itself when it’s the left wing of the party criticizing the center. When it’s the other way around, that’s called “being the adults in the room,” sweaty.

    Since October 7th, the news from Israel and Palestine has been unremittingly grim. For lawmakers in Washington, it has also been vexing, since they are being held responsible for a situation over which they have little direct control.

    Yeah those arms packages just write themselves into being.
