  • I still have it, but like you I'm less interested. The format really gets on your nerves after a while and it's always dominated by the same shit that I have no interest in. I struggle to see anything you post for example because it's all buried in this shittastic timeline that I can't be fucked scrolling through and communities are broken.

    @Alice@hilariouschaos.com is most of my Nostr fun and the reason I joined in the first place, if she's here now then I don't feel like I'm missing out on much. It would be cool if a few other people joined us, there are only a handful of people who we interact with anyway, but I don' t know if they will.

    The only downside is things are a bit more fun with more people, and we really don't want to federate with the wider Lemmy because that comes with all of its dodgy content problems and politics.

    So I think the ideal is if we had a small community of people who just like to kick back and talk shit, that would be fun.

      I was kind of wondering if there were any invitations open for other people to join in here.

    I'm still going to keep it, I check in on there but I'm posting less.

    I usually get an urge to use it when I've put it away for a while and then eventually get burnt out, and put it away again.

    I'm sure I can guess lol but why are you getting less interested from your experience?

    If I'm being honest, it's extremely annoying on there.

    Some people post with the intention to not answer replies.

    Like they just need to get out their thought that they think is pure gold and the world must know.

    That, the CONSTANT Bitcoin, and it pretty much being a place of self obsessed people.

    It's annoying and frustrating. Give a free speech protocol to people who lack vision and lazy ass developers and there you go.

    The most annoying thing for me, is why are your even on there if you don't want to talk to people about anything?

    Just post dumb shit? Anime, bitcoin, and complex computer system shit? That's fucking boring.

    • Yeah that sums it up perfectly. Every time I go on there it’s Bitcoin, or relays, religion, or politics and it is so damn boring.

      So few people post photos or hobbies or anything that might be interesting.
