  • I'm surprised nobody seems interested in this one. It's been solidly in the top 10 since the season started and jumped up +5 last week.

    We're past the hook so the story has gotten real interesting. If you gave up on it after the first episode or 2 I recommend you give it another watch.

    • I just started the second season, so trying to catch up. So far I'd say its decent, but I've been told it gets way better.

      • The fight where the Minotaur explodes is peak Danmachi but IIRC it takes a whole season for it. The number of really emotional moments per season does pick up though.

        The Ishtar Familia arc is a bit skeevy imo but sets up some key lore and characters. Other than that the rest is pretty solid. Season 5 is real slow at the start, especially if you hate the way females behave in the series, but by s04+ it is worth it.
