Why tf is everyone freaking out about Portland?

There was an exchange of gunfire when a proud boy fired at counter protesters who returned fire. Nobody was injured but things are escalating still. That was on the 22nd. They're also about to see mass evictions in the middle of the on going pandemic just before winter.
- I mean, why is every chud freaking out about Portland being the worst place in the world? Suddenly everyone is attacking portland for some reason and I don't really understand it because I don't even know what a Portland is lol
  
  Do you remember the 90s? People were talking about getting piercings and tribal tattoos. People were singing about saving the planet and forming bands. There's a place where that idea still exists as a reality -- Portland. Remember when people were content to be unambitious. They sleep until 11am. Just hung out with their friends. They had no occupations whatsoever. Maybe work a couple hours a week at a coffee shop. Portland is a city where young people go to retire.
