This is basically what Ottawa is doing. The only mistake they made was that it doesn’t work when it snows… in Canada.

Don't forget that it also breaks down in the summer too 🌞

They also built it to in a way that's only really useful for commuters who mostly don't even need to go downtown anymore 🙃
