"Bring the 13-14 key" is a basic mechanic's joke.
Note: in mm.
25 0 ReplyI don't get it?
7 1 ReplyFixed keys are 12-13 and 14-15. 13-14 doesn't exist.
21 0 ReplyThe 13-14 is really only used when you're changing the headlight fluid, for some reason.
25 0 ReplyFunnily enough the lock for the elbow grease in the closet is also 13-14

Thank you.
3 0 ReplyIs that an Allan key? I've never seen them marked anything other than a single number, in SAE or metric.
2 0 ReplyI believe it's an open ended wrench, one end is 12mm the other is 13mm.
4 1 ReplyOdd; I've never seen multiple sizes on one wrench, nor seen them called 'keys'

Never really see those around here anymore. I have a few in old tractors, but most of them have been lost by now and replaced with box end wrenches of single sizes.
2 0 ReplyAh, thanks. Never heard a double ended wrench called a key before.
1 0 ReplyMy bad. In Spanish we call them "llaves" and I translated it without thinking.
1 0 ReplyFrom German the direct translation to English is screw key.
