I can 100% guarantee that the replacement system has already been designed and it's over the top scummy.
They are spreading out the negative news to leasen the PR impact.
It's gonna be either loot boxes or reddit blue. Twitter blue, but reddit.
It's definitely crypto. 2021 called; it wants its retards back.
I think they're planning to release a real-money karma system that'll revolve around awards.
So they need to sunset the old awards, to make room for cash awards.
It's such a terrible idea for a social network that I'm convinced Reddit is doing it.
They're going to just straight up pay people that have high karma. It's already been leaked. Or was it announced already? I don't know. It's all dumb.
