He "adopted" that Astor kid in an episode of TNG. I think technically it was more of a Klingon "big brother, little brother" kind of thing, but he definitely signed up for a father-figure role and promptly never thought of the kid again lol.

To be fair to Worf, Riker also adopted a kid ("Jean Luc", the alien with the psychic holodeck powers), and promptly forgot about him forever.
